Samsung Galaxy Nexus

Some specs were changed after pointed out by Shashank.
Hello everybody, here we are, with a fresh Nexus review.
We can say that this is the best android out there right now.
As usual this review will be divided in 3 parts the built quality, hardware specs and the software specs and after that the pros and cons and price. So, lets get started with this review.

Firstly talking about the built quality of this device. The phone is too slim/ slick uni-body architecture, there is a front camera on this device. The back plate is plastic made, which feels quite cheap while holding in hand.
The phones dimensions are135.5 x 67.9 x 8.9 mm, because of 4.65 inch display the phone is really large to handle with a single hand. The phone is really slim and light weight and feels quite royal while holding in hands.

Secondly coming to the hardware specifications of the device, Galaxy Nexus carries a TI-OMAP 4460 1.2 Ghz cortex A9 Dual-core processor, which is the best out there, with the best support for multimedia playback up to 1080p and maximum video formats are supported. The GPU of the phone is Power VR SGX 540, that is also the best out there with 1 GB of RAM. in total THE HARDWARE OF THIS DEVICE IS BEST IN THE MARKET. The camera is of 5 MP which is not eye popping but still good enough and average music output. This phone is not your cup of tea if you are looking for the replacement for your SLR or iPod. The benchmarks of this device are really the best.

The screen resolution is 720x1280 packed in a screen of 4.65 inches giving 316 pixels per inches (ppi). The screen of this flagship device of Samsung Galaxy- Google is powered by Samsung's  Super Amoled technology making it crisp and vivid as ever. Display is just too sharp and crisp for any purpose whether it be videos, gaming or text.

Now having a look at the software of this ultimate creature of galaxy. Nexus being the Google phone always gets updated very quick, this phone was launched with android 4.0 ICS and have been upgraded to android 4.1 Jelly Bean, which is a charm to use. The project butter and several other features of Jelly Bean makes this device exceptionally beautiful and enjoyable use. There are no bloatwares in this device, just pure Vanilla ICS or JB. According to my personal experience Vanilla ICS or JB are hell lot better than other bloatwares and it consumes much less battery.

Pros and cons of Galaxy Nexus -
1. Veryyyyyy Powerful hardware makes it an Ultimate Winner.
2. Updated android Jelly Bean.
3. Sharp and clear display with Super Amoled technology.

Cons
1. Not so good camera.
2. Average music

Final Advice - :
Talking frankly i didn't find any cons in this device that breaks your deal. This is the best mobile at the best price, that is this phone is truly value for money.

Price - : Not Launched in India. But still some websites are selling it at 25000/- INR.

Sony Xperia P Review

Hello guyz n gurlz, here is a detailed review of a mid ranged Xperia NXT series phone Xperia P.
First lets take a look at the design and built of this device.
Xperia P is built of aluminum unibody construction, which means whole body of this device is made out of a single piece of aluminum, it really feels too good in hands, but its not solid, it may get easily dented with a single drop from a 2 ft height and that is certain because of its slick and smooth finish. It would be hell lot better to get it covered in solid plastic body cover. Since it has a unibody construction the battery is non-removable which may break some hearts as the battery is quite weak.

Now, lets take a closer look at the hardware of this device.
Xperia P boasts a Nova Thor 8500 Dual Core 1 Ghz processor and Mali 400 MP GPU with a 1 GB of RAM, but what disappoints me a lot is its meager 1305 maH battery that reminds us of 2010 phone's battery. But if the battery is not an issue for you than this device is not going to disappoint you in any condition. Regarding camera it has a huge 8 MP with EXMOR sensor which is found in Arc S. The results are not outstanding but still satisfying. It also has 16 GB of internal storage for all your andro-stuff and Multimedia contents.

Now, coming to the USP of this phone that is its 4.0 inch qHD Bravia Engine display with Sony's White Magic technology. There must be a question in your mind. What the hell is this White Magic, here we reveal the secret. In ordinary devices the display consists of three color pixels RGB(Red, Green and Blue). But, in Sony White Magic display a white sub-pixel is also added to the display for its clear visibility at outdoors. This white sub-pixel also helps the battery to last a little longer than usual.

But a BIG ISSUE is that, this phone still comes with Android 2.3(Gingerbread). Sony promises to release ICS for this device in 3rd quarter of this year. Here android is skinned with Sony's own custom apps like Time Scape, I personally found the Vanilla ICS to be more intuitive and clean UI found in Nexus. But still these bloatwares aren't a deal breaker.

Pros
1. 4.0 inch White Magic Display
2. One of the most powerful GPU i.e. Mali 400.
3. 1 GB RAM
4. Dual Core Processor which makes the phone future proof.

Cons
1. Small 1305 maH battery.
2. Still old android Gingerbread
3. Screen seems some times greenish at full brightness.
4. Benchmarks are not as good as HTC One S.

Price :- 25000/- INR
Competitor :- HTC one S and Sony Xperia S.
